Joe Logan Diffie is an American born singer and songwriter who was born on December 28, 1958. He was born into a musical family to an American father Joe R. who plays guitar and banjo. He attended his high school in the town of Velma. He followed his mother's footsteps and began to sing in premature age, over and over again listening to the albums in his father's record set. He signed with Epic in early 1990. He is very popular for his song writing. He played football, baseball and golf in accumulation to running path; in his senior year he was acknowledged as Best All-Around Male Athlete. As his father and mother both were from musical family, Diffie also had interest on singing and song writing.
Diffie was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. He and several additional artists won that year's Country Music Association prize for Vocal Event of the Year, for their guest vocal on George Jones's "I Don't Need Your Rocking' Chair". His near the beginning albums for Epic mostly consisted of ballads, but opening with Honky Tonk Attitude, he began to contain more up-tempo and novelty numbers. Diffie released seven studio albums, a Christmas album and best hits wrap up under the Epic label. In 2001, Sony Nashville transfers Diffie from its Epic dissection to the Memorial Records division. This shift was due to a corporate judgment that Epic had too many artists and Memorial had too few. He signed with Epic in early 1990. He is very popular for his song writing. He played football, baseball and golf in accumulation to running path; in his senior year he was acknowledged as Best All-Around Male Athlete. In 1990, he won Male Vocalist of the Year. This doesn’t mean him being a gay. From 1992 to the early 2000s, Diffie held a donation show and golf competition benefiting First Steps, a nonprofit society for the schooling of emotionally and bodily-impaired children. His assistance to this organization won him a Humanitarian reward from the Country Radio Broadcasters in 1997.
