In 1975 he was featured in Edward Albee's Seascape for which he won Tony Award. He was nominated again for the same in the 1977 Broadway production Dracula in which he had a role as the lead character. In 1981 he played the lead role in Sherlock Holmes, which is the TV recording of the live stage production. In 1987 he was cast in the role of a villain Skeletor in Masters of the Universe.
