Natalie (Leticia) Morales was born on 6 June 1972 in Taipei, Taiwan. Natalie Morales' parents are Penelope Morales and Lieut. Col. Mario Morales Jr, who is a retired Air Force. Since she was a U.S. Air Force dependent, she has spent most of her life overseas with her family in Panama, Brazil, and Spain.

Morales is a broadcast Journalist currently working for NBC news. She is the anchor of Today’s show, Third hour, and she regularly appears on other programs such as Dateline NBC, and NBC Nightly News.
