Michael Franti is one of the most talented and successful American musician, poet, singer-songwriter and rapper born in Oakland, California on April 21, 1966 as a son of Charles Franti, a professor in the department of epidemiology and preventive medicine of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and died in 2003 and Carole Wisti. He spends his class 9-school time at Highland Junior High School in Edmonton, Alberta. After then he attended Davis Senior High School and graduated from the College of San Francisco.
