Marc Craig Cohn is an American singer/songwriter as well as a musician, who was born on the 5th of July, 1959 and in 2015, his current age is 56 years old.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the United States of America into a middle class Jewish- family. It is believed that his parents were Americans bit had European ancestry, originating from Austria and Poland.

He lost both his parents at a young age; first, his mom when he was just two years old and his father after ten years of that. Growing up at his relative’s he studied at the Beachwood High School in Beachwood, Ohio where he was into music and learned to play guitar at school.

After his 12th birthday, he first wrote a poem and later started to write songs for himself. His talent and composition saw him perform with some local artists and he had a band named Doanbrook Hotel.
