Nathan Willett is the lead guitarist, vocalist and also plays piano in his band ‘Cold War Kids’ which is an American-indie rock band from a place called Long Beach, California. His nationality is an American. He along with his other band members, like Dann Gallucci, Matt Maust, Joe Plummer and Mathew Schwartz formed this band together in 2004 in Fullerton. They started from the independent record label Monarchy Music. They started their journey when Nathan Willett, Matt Aveiro and Matt Maust regularly met in Jonnie’s apartment and played music. Maust decided the band’s name when he travelled to the Eastern Europe. The Cold War Kids was signed with Downtown Records and there, they started to work on their debut albums which was titled as ‘Robbers & Cowards’ and released on October 10, 2006 with nearly 200,000 copies. The band was able to win the heart of the critics with its blues rock sound and lyrics. In spring 2008, the band went back to Long Beach after two years of continuous worldwide tours.
