Later, she also lost her excessive weights. However, the scene showcasing slimmer Hooks couldn't make the final cut due to time constraints.

Surprisingly, the filmmakers asked Marion to put on the fat suit back for the sequel of the movie. It was a great strategy in their point of view as over-weighed Marion not only brought in sympathetic viewers to the show but also a distinctive and unconventional feel to the role.
