Kate Levering is an American actress as well as a dancer, best known for her role in the TV series Kevin Hill, with her role as Taye Diggs. Kate was born on the 3rd of January 1979, Sacramento, California, USA. She was brought up in a middle class family of white ethnicity and was the middle of third children born to a sports coach father Rickie Levering and a tailor mother Martha Levering. She had a simple childhood with her siblings, and grew up studying at the El Camino Fundamental High School.
