Daniela Castro is a Mexican actress of movies and TV and is also a singer/musician. She is best known for her role of “Julia Santos” in Cañaveral de pasiones (1996), and also for her work as “Graciela Giacinti de Mendoza” in Lo que la vida me robó (2014). Having played over a dozen of TV shows, she has also acted in couple of movies and most of her work gets translated to other countries where her fan base is bigger; like Argentina, Spain and other Latin countries. Having been nominated for or won different awards in her professional life, Daniela is surely one name that gets top priority in the Mexican list of actresses. Likewise, she has also contributed in making songs and music which has been used by the same telenovelas in which she has played.

Daniela was born as Daniela Castro Rodríguez on the 17th of August, 1969 in México City, México. She was born as an only child into a musical family where her father Javier Rodriguez was one of the famous musicians and one of the three members of the popular group Los Hermanos Castro (The Castro Brothers). Her mother was also a stage performer who used to play guitars and was her first music teacher, as a matter of fact. Daniela developed a taste and interest into music from a young age and soon began to develop her skills of paying instruments too. She joined the Centro de Estudios Artísticos de Televisa (CEA) which took her interest of performing into another level, as an actress. A Mexican by nationality, Daniela and her parents has a long chain of ethnicity from around Portugal and Argentina.

After joining with CEA, she stared to appear in small plays and soon made her way in theatres, in lead roles. That brought her to spotlight with now people from the Television shows coming in with contracts and roles. That saw her in TV for the first time in 1981, appearing as “Debbie” in Cachún cachún ra ra!.
