Sharon Needles was born as Aaron Coady on November 28, 1981 (his current age is 32 years old) in Newton, Iowa, USA. He was born to parents Liam Coady and Patricia Coady, as their third and youngest child.

He has had a particularly rough childhood and according to him, he was harassed and tortured in school because he was an outsider and considered to be a gay as well.

That made him drop out before completing his school, and he didn’t go to high school either. He moved to Pennsylvania in 2004, and there he found a connection with drag play.

Better not try to change that”. He likes to get dressed up as a woman and paint black and white all over his face. His long hair is also painted partially black and partially white.

He doesn’t seem to have any tattoos, and there are no any shirtless pictures of him posted on the internet.

Sharon is believed to be sexually gay, as it has been said on many different occasions earlier. This fact has been confirmed as Sharon himself has talked openly about this some times.

There is no chance of him having a girlfriend as that part of the game he doesn’t play. But, Sharon had been dating the RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4’s contestant named Alaska Thunderfuck 5000. His real name is Justin Andrew Honard who was in the show the same season that Sharon was.

The two had an affair that continued for four years, and it was in 2013 that they broke off. He hasn’t had any wife nor has been married ever.

During the show RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4, there was 60 seconds’ long teaser movie released by Absolute Vodka. The short film might have been a strategic move to favor the contestant, and the performance was given by Sharon Needles and Michele Visage.

Visage who is a radio jockey, as well as a singer, was a part of the show, who played the role of a sleuth, who loses her crown in the teaser.

Towards the end of this show, Sharon was suspected of making racist comments on a girl whom he met on the street one night when he was in the company of his friends.
