George Richard Chamberlain is an American stage actor and a singer who was born on March 31, 1934 (his current age is 82 years old) in Beverly Hills, California, USA.
He was born to his mother Elsa Winnifred and father Charles Axiom Chamberlain, who was a salesman. He was taken as the couple’s only child and from a very young age wanted to become an actor.
He took acting classes along with his school. He went to the local Beverly Hills High School and graduated from Pomona College in 1956. He is a Christian by religion and American by nationality. He belongs to white ethnicity.
After being in a self-founded theater group along with his friends, he did stage plays in many places. But it was only in the 50s that he got a chance to work for a series.
