A versatile American actor and director with warm performances, Paul Michael Glaser was born in March 25, 1943 with white ethnicity. He is well known for his performance in NBC series Third Watch as Captain Jack Steeper from 2004 to 2005 and on the 1970s television series, Starsky & Hutch as Detective David Starsky.

Paul was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the son of Dorothy and Samuel Glaser as the youngest of three children. He joined the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School. In early age, he was very good in his studies and other extracurricular activities held in his school. Later on, he joined Cambridge School of Weston and Tulane University where he gained a masters degree in theatre and English in the year 1996. While attending the university, film director Bruce Paltrow was his roommate. Before the death of his wife, He founded the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation where he served as a chairman till 2002. In the year 1996, Paul married Tracy Barone. They both had a daughter named Zoe. Since Glaser had no good relation with Tracy, he filed for divorce in the year 2007. Since that time, he is not found dating anyone and has no girlfriend.
