Maksim Chmerkovskiy born as Maksim "Maks" Aleksandrovich Chmerkovskiy, is a Ukrainian dancer/ choreographer and a reality show winner as well.

He was born on the 17th of January 1980 (his age is 34 years old) in Odessa, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union. He along with his older brother started dancing at a very young age, from 4. He was born to a Jewish father, Aleksandr and a Christian mother Larisa, and is a Jew himself. He belongs to white ethnicity and is a Ukrainian by nationality.
