Doug Hutchison was born on May 26, 1960 as Doug Anthony Hutchison in Dover, Delaware with white ethnicity.  He is an American actor who is best known for playing distressing and antagonistic characters. He is best known for his performance in the movies like The Chocolate War, Fresh Horses, The Green Mile, The X-Files etc. he began his schooling from Apple Valley High School situated in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Then he attended Bishop Foley High School in Madison Heights, Michigan.

He was very interested in acting during his early age. Hutchison attended University of Minnesota at Minneapolis-St Paul, and then joined The Juilliard School in New York City. As he had keen intrest in acting, he thought of persuing his career in this field. Talking about his career, he began it with a Minneapolis production of Equus. Similarly he starred in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar and Sing Me Through an Open Window. In the mean time, he has made guest appearances in many tv shows like Space: Above and Beyond, Lost, The Young Riders, The X-Files, Millennium, Space: Above and Beyond Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Guiding Light and 24. At the end of 1980s, he entered in the films appearing in the 1988 drama Fresh Horses as Sproles and in the film named The Chocolate War. In the 1990s, he starred in films such as The Green Mile as Percy, Con Air , A Time to Kill, The Lawnmower Man,   and Batman & Robin. Similarly, he had supporting roles in Bait, The Salton Sea, I Am Sam, Shaft and No Good Deed.

Talking about his personal life, relationships and affairs, he was married thrice. Hutchison married girlfriend, Courtney Stodden after dating her six months through media on May 20, 2011, in Las Vegas. As he got married at the age of 50 to a sixteen-year-old singer, he received widespread criticism. He even was disowned by his family and received death threats. In the mean time, he had no good bonding with his wife so these couples appeared in second season of the VH1 reality television series Couples Therapy. But this attempt of the couple couldn’t make their relation strong and stable so they finally decided to get separated. Therefore Hutchison had a divorce with his wife after their marriage of two and a half years. In a following interview, Stodden said that the split from Hutchison was harmonious. Though he is married thrice, there is no any information provided about his children but this doesn’t mean he is a gay.
