DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and model who was born on June 10, 1972 in Nashville, Tennessee as Donald Joseph "DJ" Qualls.  This young and talented actor is best known for his performances in different movies and TV shows. Qualls is best known for his appearance with strong presentation in the films like Hustle & Flow, The New Guy and Road Trip and in the TV series like The Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad, Lost, Supernatural, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Scurbs.

Talking about his family and early life, he was born to Debbie and Donnie Qualls as one of their five children. He was brought up in Manchester, Tennessee where he attended a nearby school. At the age of fourteen, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. His cancer was said to be in diminution after two years of treatment. He completed his graduation from Coffee County Central High School. During his school days, he was very active in his studies and also was active member of Red Raider Band. He then attended University of London, where he studied English literature and English language. He then joined Belmont University in Nashville and also started taking acting classes from local theatre company. 

In the beginning phase of his career as an actor, he appeared in the 1994 HBO film Against the Wall. Then in the year 1998, he appeared in the miniseries Mama Flora's Family with a small role of Jason. Then he auditioned for a whole year in Road Trip in the year 2000 and was asked to meet producer Ivan Reitman in California. Therefore as a shy virgin Kyle Edwards, he appeared in Road Trips. In the mean time, he also modeled for Prada and also worked with photographers such as Steve Klein and David LaChapelle. Similarly, he appeared in the films like Cherry Falls, Big Trouble, Monk, Comic Book Villains, The New Guy, Lone Star State of Mind, Criminal Minds, Comic Book Villains, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, My Name Is Earl and so on.  Qualls also appeared in Britney Spears' music video "Boys" in a Cameo and in a music video by Simple Plan named "I'm Just a Kid".  Recently he appeared in the television series Legit as Billy Nugent.

Regarding his personal life, he has not opened up more and seems to be keeping it away from media. He has not revealed anything about his dating and affairs. May be he has no girlfriends. Due to his mere silence about his relationship, we cannot assume him to be married, having any wife or girlfriend, children and getting divorce. Though Qualls has very unusual nose, he has not attempted any kind of plastic surgery.
